Mandolin Symposium in Santa Cruz, CA
Here's the line up and info
from last years festival and some photos and videos from the
past festivals! Enjoy!
Special Guest Builders: Will
Kimble, and
Ben
Wilcox (BRW), renowned mandolin builders, are
attending the festival. Come and have a chance to meet and talk
with Will and Ben, and perhaps see some of their recent
mandolins. Will is going to have the
New Millennium Acoustic Design carbon fiber mandolin with
him. The worlds first carbon fiber mandolin!
Thank you to everyone who attended the past
festivals. This event has truly been a "grassroots" effort
since everyone involved has donated their time, effort and
talents since the first festival. At last years FREE
festival we enjoyed over 9 hours of mandolin music, workshops
and mandolin builder displays from
BRW Mandolins and
Will Kimble Mandolins, two of
the finest builders in the midwest. The festival
was a
huge success and we look forward to seeing everyone in June! Here's a
couple of clips from the last two festivals of our friends from
the Dayton Mandolin Orchestra.
Here's a shot of Mark and Mario
at the festival in 2007!
