Sat., Nov. 14 8pm Hedgehog Music
Showcase Radio Revue Show featuring the Bob
Cats Band (Pete Drum on clarinet and sax, Joe O'Connor
and yours truly on guitar, Greg Huckleberry on drums,
and Darrell Fiene on upright bass), Steve Elliott, and
several vocalists doing the great 1930-40's Big Band and
Swing Standards of yesteryear. This program takes on an
old-fashioned radio show format sure to please the
audience on this trip through yesteryear. $5 cover.
Sun., Nov. 15 3pm Diamond Hill Station
Bluegrass Band from Terre Haute. This is a
special show with musicians on the forefront with their
excellent up-tempo contemporary bluegrass. Admission is
$10. No Colts game this weekend, so we hope you can
make it to this show.
Sat., Nov. 21 8pm Benefit Concert for
the Hamilton County Humane Society featuring Celtic
fiddler Emily Ann Thompson. We read in the
news this past week that the shelter cannot accept
anymore animals due to lack of space (they have a
no-kill policy). As you know, due to the economy, lost
pets, intolerance, or neglect, many cats and dogs need a
second chance for a good life. These animals are lonely
and traumatized, and they need your help. Emily is a
well-known and accomplished Celtic fiddler, and she has
agreed to provide a truly enjoyable musical performance
free of charge to help the animals. We are doing the
same, with proceeds going to the shelter. Would you
please attend this show, and make a donation of $10 or
more? It'll make you feel good!
